Step 1: Prep
Apply a body oil or massage cream, such as ECLADO Exo Clinical Gel, or your own serum or oil, to the area you'll be massaging so the tool glides smoothly.

Step 2: Massage
Use the Y-shaped end to softly push and massage along the jawline and décolletage, and the comb-shaped end for the scalp, calves, and similar areas. Start with light, sweeping strokes and gradually increase pressure to a level that feels right for you.

Step 3: Clean
Wipe the tool clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use, and store away from direct sunlight.

Q. Can I use this with my favorite serum or oil?
A. Yes, you can use whatever oil or serum you already have. We recommend pairing it with Exo Clinical Gel for the best glide and massage experience.

Q. How should I massage with it?
A. Apply a body oil or massage cream first, then glide the tool over skin as if gently pushing it along. If your skin is sensitive, very firm pressure can cause bruising, so start with a light, sweeping motion and gradually increase to a pressure that suits you.

Q. I see small scratches on the surface, is that normal?
A. Yes. This gua sha is made by polishing a natural wood material, and fine scratches can occur during the natural drying and handling process. This is a normal part of working with natural materials. Before first use, apply massage cream or body oil and buff with a soft cloth, most scratches will disappear and the tool will develop a smooth, glossy finish that gets better with use.

Q. Do I need to wash or disinfect it?
A. Since it's made from natural wood, we don't recommend washing it with water. After receiving it, we suggest applying a thick cream to lightly coat and season the surface before use. If you feel it needs disinfecting, gently wipe it with an alcohol swab and immediately dry the surface with a dry towel.
